The Lefteous Sisters (pronounced “left-chus,” as in “not the Righteous Brothers”) is a unique blend of established and emerging L.A.-based musicians. Currently recording as a trio, band members include Ericka Verba (vocals/guitar), Angi Neff (vocals/guitar), and Lisa Hornung (vocals/viola). Expressing themselves in the folk tradition of purposeful songs that ask questions, tell stories, and that make an audience laugh and even sing along, the band’s repertoire features both original and traditional songs arranged in their signature three-part harmony.

Recently the group has lent their talents to such diverse events and venues as a fundraiser for Grant Elementary in Santa Monica; a performance at SPARC Gallery in Venice; a concert for a booksigning, ‘Translating Childhoods,’ at Tropico de Nopal in L.A.; musical support for ‘Women Building California’ (a conference at the Los Angeles Marriot); the Labor & Social Justice Fair at California State University at Dominguez Hills in Carson, and at the Southern California Library for Ash Grove’s Beyond November.
