WANTED WRITERS!, A Literary Reading Series at THE RUMOR MILL Wednesday, 3/21/2012, 7:00-9:30 pm CLAIRE CORDINGLEY is a British actress who has just moved to Los Angeles. She studied at London’s Bridge Theatre Training Company, then went on to work extensively in the theatre, appearing in such roles as Helena in Chekov’s “Uncle Vanya” and Rosalind in Shakespeare’s “As You Like It.” Claire has also written, produced, and starred in two short films that were devised from improvisation. Both films screened in Dublin and London. She also appeared in an episode of the successful web series, “Hurry Up and Wait,” in a episode improvised live on camera. Our aim is to inspire, amuse, delight, and entertain you. Performers are carefully selected for their creativity, dedication, passion and excellence at what they do, and each program variously includes singers, musicians, spoken word/literary performers, comics, dancers, and actors/actresses with original theatre pieces. We want you to come and make an evening of it in a supper club/dinner theatre/concert atmosphere. Each performer on these programs is here for a reason and is very much worth seeing.
